The Largest company and Employers in Italy?

If you judge it by revenue,  Eni S.p.A, an energy company that is involved in the exploration, production, and distribution of oil, gas, and electricity is the largest company in Italy. According to Forbes, Eni had revenue of $64.5 billion and assets of $130.4 billion in 2021.

Other major companies in Italy include: Exor N.V. – a holding company with interests in various industries, including automotive, media, and insurance. Enel – a multinational energy company that produces, distributes, and sells electricity and gas. Generali – an insurance company that offers a range of products and services, including life, health, and property insurance.
